Starting the second week of my hypertrophy mesocycle. The progression for this program adds about 2% to weight on the bar, where possible, and auto regulates volume based on how I respond to previous workouts. In my view, the volume increases for the focus muscle groups is too fast so I modify things so volume only goes up 1 set per body part per day, or two per week. If I am recovering well from each workout that would put me at 23 or 25 sets for chest and back by the end of the mesocycle. Depends on how many weeks I go before I need a deload of course.
