Half-way through week 3 and still feeling pretty good. (Half-way through the accumulation phase too, come to that.) Most exercises are still getting +1 ratings which will keep the volume going up next week. The only one that didn’t get a +1 today was the Slant Board Situps. With the first rep I could feel how sore I was from Day 1’s workout. Recovery is just as important as overload (if not more important) so no need to force more volume.
- Workout:

- Normal Grip Pulldown: 105 lbs x 12, 11, 9
- Barbell Bent Over Row: 100 lbs x 18, 16
- Cable Facepull: 42 lbs x 25, 22, 19, 18
- Incline Bench Press: 115 lbs x 12, 10, 7
- Slant Board Situp: 16 lbs x 21, 16, 14, 11
Today’s workout had an increase of 4 sets over last week’s day 3 and 11 minutes more workout time.
A Nourishing Pursuit is about more than just diet and exercise. It also involves continually learning and doing the things that interest you and help you grow. I started work on this year’s garden, which is always something I’ve enjoyed doing. I haven’t always felt like I’ve had the time to devote to it. At least for now, I have plenty of time so I am taking advantage of it.
I’m also spending time learning. Since one of my foci now is my YouTube channel, I’m spending some time learning how to improve my video and audio skills. Should be fun.
