The first week of the new program went pretty well. I experienced DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) for the first time in quite awhile. This is mainly due to how the volume of the new program is divided. It is about the same volume as my old program. Instead of 2 sets each day the new program as 6 sets on each of 2 days. The soreness went away for the most part by the time that body part came up again.
