Leg days are a special kind of fun with BFR training. Do a set of 30 squats with maybe 2 reps in reserve. Rest 20 seconds and do another set with 2 RiR. Rest another 20 seconds and do a final set to about 2 RiR. Then repeat that for leg extensions and leg curls.
The bent-over leg curls are the closest I can come to a seated leg curl. According to what I’ve read the seated version is more effective than the prone version because of the stretch placed and the muscle. Bending over at the waist as I do on the video is the best I can approximate that. At least without buying a $500 piece of equipment I don’t have space for.
I swear my wife adds extra steps to the staircase leading up from the basement gym just to make me suffer a little more on these days.
